Leale’s is a family owned and operated business with over 44 years of experience working on cars and small trucks, medium to heavy-duty trucks and RVs.

Back in 1961 my Father began working on transmissions and drivetrain components at a shop named Automotive Specialist. He quickly advanced his skills and by 1965 opened up his own business in San Jose on Grant and 1st St.. During this time my Mother Brenda was a driving force in the success of their business as the office manager, accountant and payroll administrator.

As Silicon Valley continued to grow Dad’s business was forced to relocate due to the building of a new onramp to freeway 280. In 1961 we moved and set up shop on Montgomery St. Several years later an explosion burst from next door burned down the entire building. But after a short bit, it was rebuilt and Leale’s was providing outstanding service once again.

At the age of twelve I started helping-out at my Dad’s shop. As I got older my fascination to master the challenging complexities of transmissions, transfer cases and differentials led me to reading all technical manuals I could get my hands on and to attend all the accredited tech-schools and classes available.

Repairs with a Dedication to Quality: As engineering development for drivetrains continues to advance we quickly master these new technologies and not only keep pace with the auto industry, but also use our wealth of experience to provide superior diagnosis and service.

A 2nd Generation Repair Shop: When Dad retired in 1999 I vowed to maintain his same high standards, honest hard work, and our incomparable commitment to outstanding customer service and solid reliability. In 2004 we opened up a second shop to keep pace with the demand for our service & repair of heavy-duty trucks and RVs.

In early 2010 we opened up an Indoor RV, Boat & Auto Storage facility. Business went so well that at the end of that year we moved our RV Service & Repair business under the same roof as the Indoor Storage.

Today we’re excited to welcome you to our new location with more than one hundred thousand square feet of space to attend for any need you may have for your RV.

Just drop off your RV and we will care for everything from wash’n wax, service & repair, finding and installing that special accessory, auto body & paint, and indoor storage.
